First Impressions
The Packaging

The package is simple. The box is made of ordinary carton and the brand is printed in a letter-sized sticker and is pasted on the top cover. On the inside, the AEG is tucked neatly in a hard foam. It is tightly packed thus it needs a little effort taking the gun out of the foam.
The Gun

My first impression with the gun is that its not an obvious JG. Except for the commando logo, the gun doesn't look like a JG but rather a KWA M4A1 without the trademarks.

The receiver pins need hexagonal torque wrench to remove, much the same as the KWA version. The gun is painted black and it weighs approximately 5 to 6 kilos. Metal parts include the upper and lower receivers, carry handle, butt tube, one-piece outer barrel, charging handle, trigger, magazine release button, fire selector and the front sights. I inserted the cleaning rod inside the barrel and I noticed that there is more resistance unlike my JG 416 which I verified to have a 6.03mm stock tight barrel. This I have to verify with the new M4.
Major Difference Ver 2 to Ver 3
Aside from the metal body, there are 2 notable addition to the gun not present in ver 2. The version 3 has a one-piece metal hop chamber and a mosfet relay. Though I haven't opened the gearbox yet, I was told that it already has metal bushings the the GB is reinforced. It is also lipoly-ready.

Velocity
Test fired it using a lipoly battery and it sounded different. I guess its because of the metal receivers. Velocity is recorded at 403 fps using a guarder chrono, thus plus 30 fps with others. ROF is very impressive.

Cons
Its my first all metal AEG and it really feels heavy. The charging handle is a little wobbly and needs to be pulled a little to the right in order to open the dust cover. But the important thing is, its able to open the dust cover in order to adjust the hop rubber.
